Term 4, Week 3

We've had a few weeks to get back into it now Grade 3-6. It's time to start doing more reading and therefore more blogging!

  1. I read about 8000 things you should know.shark facts.sharks would flip up the wrong way if they had no fins.some sharks are so flexable thay can touch their fins with their snouts. Shark skin is so rough that in the past it was used to make a type of sand paper called shagreen. A shark can sence a turtle,octopus or other prey from up to 20 m away.

  2. Ive been reading about 8000 awsome things you shouls know Pg140. Some have special see through eyelids that protect their eyes without cutting out any light. Others just roll their eyes up into thier head to protect them. In one experiment a scientist tryed to plugged a sharks nostrill. It swam around in a circle!

  3. I read 'wolves' I read about the wolves skull and the bat-eared foxes skull. I also read about that a wolve shows all it's teeth when it yawns, and that all canids have 42 teeth but bat-eared foxes have 46-50 teeth.
